Lahor Global Magazine CEO, Princepaul Agbonlahor, Condemns Jungle Justice and Killing in Uromi

In a powerful statement, Princepaul Orobosa Agbonlahor, the Publisher, CEO of Lahor Global Magazine has strongly condemned the act of jungle justice and the recent brutal killing in Uromi, Edo State. Agbonlahor expressed his outrage over the mob justice that led to the death of an individual, calling it a reprehensible act that undermines the rule of law and human dignity.

In his statement through his creative director, Jeffrey Botimi, Princepaul Agbonlahor emphasized that jungle justice, where individuals are subjected to violence by an angry mob without trial, is not only unlawful but also morally indefensible. “Such actions are a direct violation of human rights and the principles of justice. No one should take the law into their own hands,” he said. He further added that such acts create an atmosphere of fear, injustice, and insecurity, which destabilizes communities and undermines the judicial system.

The incident in Uromi, where some suspected kidnappers were killed by angry mob, has sparked national outrage. Agbonlahor expressed his deep condolences to the victim’s family and called on the authorities to thoroughly investigate the incident, ensuring that security measures are put in place to further curb kidnapping and destruction of people’s farm land.

The CEO also called on the public to refrain from participating in mob actions and instead report any criminal activities to the appropriate authorities. He emphasized the importance of allowing the legal system to handle criminal matters in order to ensure justice is served fairly and lawfully.

In his closing remarks, Agbonlahor urged government officials, law enforcement agencies, and civil society organizations to continue working together to educate the public on the dangers of jungle justice and the importance of respecting the rule of law. He stressed that this collective effort would go a long way in fostering a just, peaceful, and law-abiding society.
